Those in Christ love the Lord our God with all our hearts. So it is our goal to follow all of Christ's teachings. Those without this love for the Lord, say this is a work (chore) instead of an act of love and wanting to do the Lord's will
When Jesus came he didn't do away with the laws but explained the law (ten commandments). He told us that we are therefore to be perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48).
A man told Christ all the Ten Commandments have I followed: And of course, we can try not to speak evil. Some men may look at a woman. And we still can't be perfect. Christ knew this therefore He said: If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. Matthew 19: 16-21.
Apostles forsook all. The church in Acts forsook all. And so did I close to 50 years ago. And I have lacked for nothing.
For you see when I turned to the Lord God in heaven I had an incredible experience by the Spirit of God and was born again in the His Holy Spirit.
And unlike those in this world I knew I was a sinner and desired to be perfect.
Written: There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words (teaching); the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day.
Thereby following Christ and his teachings we know we will be found perfect but not sinless.
